Please still arrive about 1-1/2-2 hours before flight time. The lines get sort of long about an hour before. This allows you to get through a line at the ticket counter, get rid of your checked bags with TSA, and enjoy a stress-free environment waiting for security to open and the plane coming to land.
DO NOT think that this is a smaller airport and you can check in 30 minutes ahead of time. The ticket counter does close 45 minutes prior to flight because the same people that work the ticket counter also need to prepare and work with the plane arriving. NOTE: If you have a boarding pass and only a carry-on or personal bag, you can skip the ticket counter and go right to security.

If you can spill it, spread it, spray it, pump it, or pour it, then it should go into your checked bag.
What Can I Bring? by Transportation Security Administration
Because of COVID, Minnesota has been granted another extension for REAL ID enforcement, allowing Federal agencies to accept driver’s licenses and identification cards from Minnesota at Federal facilities, nuclear power plants and federally regulated commercial aircraft until May 3rd, 2023. After May 3rd, 2022, you will need a GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID or REAL ID. Adult passengers 18 and over must show valid identification at the airport security checkpoint in order to travel. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) does not require children under 18 to provide identification when traveling with a companion within the United States. Contact the airline for questions regarding specific ID requirements for travelers under 18, especially when considering "lap child" status.
